In Edinburgh, Scotland, during the Global Climate Change strike on September 20, 2019. The strike took place in 4,500 locations of 150 countries and carried out mainly by young people aware of the current situation of global warming caused by human emissions of greenhouse gases.
The main objective of the strike was the demand for actions to governments and institutions to address climate change.
In the UK around 200 events were organized where more than 300,000 people participated. 20,000 of whom met in Edinburgh.
